This video gives you a good example of going for a ride on a Trikke

A Trikke is a non-electric three wheeled scooter that works without any foot power.
Riding a Trikke looks a lot like slalom skiing or roller blading. The rider moves side to side and follows a gentle S-curve.
To ride a Trikke, the rider uses their body weight to direct the Trikke in short arcs to the left and right. It isn't a quick movement like those crazy power wings or rip sticks. The movement is actually very similar to doing a tic tac on a skateboard. It doesn't take long the find the sweet spot and start carving with speed and confidence. The average cruising speed for a Trikke is about 15kph on flat ground. And yes, they can go uphill!
In technical terms, a Trikke harnesses the law of conservation of angular momentum to generate forward acceleration.
Trikking is easy and fun for everyone. It is a whole body workout that is very low impact. The design makes a Trikke very stable and easy to ride, even for the most sports challenged person.
The best thing about a Trikke is just how fun it is to ride. Most Trikke owners ride almost daily and just can't get enough.
People we meet are always amazed at how effortless riding seems to be (people ask where the battery/motor is).
